AIR PRE-HEATER
An air pre heater (APH) serves as a crucial component aimed at elevating the thermal efficiency of various processes, such as combustion in boilers, by heating the air prior to its utilization. This device, whether employed independently or as a replacement for a recuperative heat system or steam coil, functions with the primary objective of enhancing thermal efficiency. Essentially, the air pre heater operates by recovering heat from the boiler flue gas, thereby minimizing the loss of useful heat in the flue gas and consequently augmenting the overall efficiency of the boiler. By reducing the temperature of the flue gases conveyed to the flue gas stack or chimney, it not only enhances thermal efficiency but also facilitates simplified design of conveyance systems and stacks. the air pre heater affords control over the temperature of gases emitted from the stack, enabling compliance with emissions regulations and environmental standards.
